The medium of instruction at FASS is English in all courses except whenever necessary, for example, in courses and readings on Turkish Literature or Ottoman History.

FASS offers highly rated undergraduate programs in economics, political science, cultural studies, international studies, psychology and visual arts and visual communication design, as well as graduate programs in economics (MA and PhD), History (MA and PhD), Political Science (MA and PhD), Cultural Studies (MA), European Studies (MA), Conflict Analysis and Resolution (MA), Turkish Studies (MA), Public Policy (MA) and Visual Arts and Visual Communication Design (MA). Near twenty percent of all applications to these graduate programs are of international origin.
