Economics Graduate Programs (MA/PhD) 2007 - 2008 Early Applications
SABANCI UNIVERSITY FACULTY of ARTS and SOCIAL SCIENCES (FASS) ECONOMICS GRADUATE (MA/PhD) PROGRAMS 2007 - 2008 ACADEMIC YEAR FALL TERM EARLY APPLICATIONS
* Applicants must have completed their degree programs (B.A./B.Sc, or MA/M.Sc), or expect completion by September 2007.
* Numerical or Equal Weight score within the top 4th percentile in the “Lisansüstü Eğitim Sınavı”(LES) or a minimum GRE score of “quantitative” 780. Submission of both LES and GRE scores are recommended. Applicants graduated from programs abroad are expected to submit GRE scores instead of LES scores.
*Applicants are required to take the SU LAE (Sabancı University Language Assessment Exam) unless they have a TOEFL score of 220 ( 83 in internet-based test) or IELTS 7.
All of the IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, LES scores must be at most two years old.
* Transcript: Bachelor's transcript (sealed, taken from Student Affairs of the applicant’s recent university) and/or master's transcript (for applicants to the PhD program with an (expected) master's degree)

* 2 Letters of Recommendation: (included in the application form)
* A Statement of Purpose clarifying the goals and expectations of the applicant
* One photo
* Submission of “Öğrenci Yerleştirme Sınavı” (ÖYS) ranking and samples of written term papers, if any, is strongly recommended.
Financial Support: Limited number of scholarships based on academic achievement are available in the form of partial or full tuition waivers and stipends.
The deadline for the early admissions period is 20th of March, 2007. Selected succesful applicants will be called for an interview (date and place will be announced later).
