SU Economics Graduate Programs (MA/PhD) 2008 Early Applications
SABANCI UNIVERSITY FACULTY of ARTS and SOCIAL SCIENCES (FASS) ECONOMICS GRADUATE (MA/PhD) PROGRAMS 2008 - 2009 ACADEMIC YEAR FALL TERM EARLY APPLICATIONS
Applicants must have completed their degree programs (B.A./B.Sc, or MA/M.Sc), or expect completion by September 2008. The deadline for the early admissions period is 6th of February, 2008. Selected succesful applicants will be called for an interview (date and place will be announced later). Application Documents and Requirements:
1. English Proficiency Exam Result (*) The validity period for these scores are as follows :TOEFL 2 years; IELTS 2 years. TOEFL-CBT Min. score 220, or
TOEFL-IBT Min. score 83, or
IELTS Min. score7.0
2.Science Test Score Result: The validity period for these scores are as follows : LES 2 years; GRE 2 years.
LES/ ALES Numerical Section or Equal Weight scores in 4th percentile
GRE Minimum score 780 in Quantitative Section
3. Official Transcript: Sealed and taken from Student Affairs of the applicant's university indicating the courses and grades taken.

5. A Statement of Purpose clarifying the goals and expectations of the applicant.

7. Other : Submission of “Öğrenci Yerleştirme Sınavı” (ÖYS) ranking and samples of written term papers, if any, is strongly recommended.
(*)The graduates of Sabanci University, who have applied and accepted to a Sabanci University graduate program within 2 years following the graduation, will be exempted from the English Language Assessment Exam.
Financial Support:Limited number of scholarships based on academic achievement are available in the form of partial or full tuition waivers and stipends.
