Graduate School Application Workshop for SPS Students

Dear all,

We are organizing a workshop tomorrow on graduate school applications which will be geared towards providing some guidance for the juniors who might apply to graduate programs in social sciences. The workshop will have distinct sessions on statement-of-purpose writing; writing samples; contacting programs, etc. Some of our graduating seniors will share their experiences regarding the application process. Seniors and some faculty members will do short presentations and we will discuss the proceedings of the application process. We will be showing some samples of statements of purpose along with other documents that the participating seniors have filed up.
The workshop will be held TOMORROW, Tuesday, the 3rd between 9:00 and 12:00 at FASS 2034. We believe that it will particularly serve the juniors as well as the faculty, as it will help save time and energy next year.
We are thankful for our graduating seniors who help us organize this workshop out of their willingness to share their experiences with the juniors.
