The Course Overloading for FASS Students
Students who are to graduate can do overloading in condition of the following;
An overloading for their course program can be done for students who complete 6th semester and are in their graduation year and for students who are to take courses in summer school and earn the rights to graduate. In order to do this the student has to fill out the attached form and give to the faculty at latest February 26, 2010. The overloading will be completed following the advisor's approval and the decision of the Faculty Administrative Board. Up to 10 credits can be overloaded with maximum number of 1 course for Fall and Spring Semestres each and maximum number of 3 courses for Summer School -including the overloading-.

a. Course Load is total credits of courses taken by a student in any
semester.b. In Fall and Spring Semester normal course load is defined
as 17 credists. However , students
can take courses under the specified course load considering their academic standing and
program requirements.

Students under 'Probation' and 'Continued Probation' academic standing
are not allowed to take course above normal course load.
d. Students under 'Satisfactory' academic standing can increase their course load up to 20 creditsin case they wish.
e.
Students, who are at the graduation year and have completed their sixth
semesters, can increase their course load at most one course with the
approval of their advisors and the decision of Faculty Administrative
Board in Fall and Spring semesters by submitting a written petition to
the Faculty they enrolled at.
f. Maximum course load students can take for summer term is 7
credits. However, students, who will graduate after taking courses in
the Summer term, can increase their course load at most 3 courses and
10 credits with the approval of their advisors and the decision of
Faculty Administrative Board by submitting a written petition to the
Faculty they enrolled at.
