History PhD candidate Uygar Aydemir attended “The Changing Frontiers of Political History,16th-20th Centuries” workshop at the Centre d'Histoire de Sciences Po on October 26-27, 2017. Uygar presented his paper entitled “Does Bureaucracy Ensure 'Rule of Law' or 'Rule of Bureaucrats'? A Critique of Modern Bureaucracy in the Nineteenth-century Ottoman Empire.”
