"The Wire" quotes Abdurrahman Aydemir's research

The Wire, one of the leading independent media ventures, cited the recent paper by our faculty member Abdurrahman Aydemir co-authored by Nadir Altinok of University of Lorraine. In their article entitled “Does One Size Fit? The Impact of Cognitive Skills of Economic Growth”, Altinok and Aydemir analyze the role of cognitive skills on economic growth. Citing the previous findings by researchers from Harvard and Stanford Universities, the news article in The Wire discusses the contribution of of Altinok and Aydemir (2017) who find stark differences in the effects of cognitive skills vis-a-vis the income levels of the economies.
