"Entrusted Ground" curated by Duygu Demir

Gözde İlkin's latest exhibition "Entrusted Ground", curated by Duygu Demir, opens at artSümer on Wednesday, September 14th.

"Entrusted Ground" is a landscape painting stretched to three-dimensions; it is also a stage for sound and movement. Comprising fire, water, earth and air, it can be seen as a pattern to ensconce oneself in, or perhaps, it is merely a cave in the crevices of our minds. "Entrusted Ground" is home to homeless stones, a shift for dancers and twigs, or a prayer for fractures.
