Zeynep Erkman Student Exhibition From VA 324

At the beginnings of my painting journey, I was struggling with everything, I did not know how to start, how to, where to put on the paint. I did not believe myself at first, and I was constantly questioning my path but with the courage, under my va 324 course from my teacher Wieslaw Zaremba gave I was ready to fight with my struggles. As long as he believed in me, I wanted to continue and honour his belief. This series is the outcome of me learning and overcoming the fears I had for myself, I evolved from looking at a blank canvas with fear for hours to not being afraid of my mistakes. This series is the reflection of my emotional inner chaos presented with the harmony of colours and the spontaneity of my movements. Although I still have so much to learn and so much to experience because of this series, now I know that I can.
