History faculty member Y.Hakan Erdem has been appointed to sit as a member in the International Scientific Committee for UNESCOs Slave Route Project: Resistance Liberty Heritage.

This is a new issue of the Leonardo Electronic Almanac titled Live Visuals. Volume editors: Lanfranco Aceti Steve Gibson and Stefan Müller Arisona. Editor: Ozden Sahin. This volume is a collaboration between Sabanci University/Kasa Galeri; NYU Steinhardt; Leonardo/ISAST & MIT Press; and Goldsmiths University of London.
