VACD MA student Öner Özlü was selected to attend 28th Contemporary Artists Exhibition

Öner Özlü, MA student in Visual Arts and Visual Communication Design, was selected as young artist among 233 applicants to the 28th Contemporary Artists Exhibition. 20 artists’ 30 art works were exhibited at the 28th Contemporary Artists Exhibition which is organized by Painting and Sculpture Museum Association with Akbank Art Center's sponsorship at  Akbank Art Center, June 24- July 31.

Artworks: Contemporary Artists’ Exhibition which is now a classic in its own field has left 27 years behind. It is not only the continuity of exhibition but also it captured and reflected the changes within visual arts field through saving the same characteristics each year. One who considers the quarter of the century of our art would testify the indispensable role of Contemporary Artists’ Exhibition on each leaping moment and crucial turn. Our aim in this exhibition in which 1241 works of 1069 artists had been displayed is to support and present the young artists who are making new attempts and thereby to contribute the current plastic arts environment of today reach a better level.
