Hist 371/571-History of a City II : Ottoman Istanbul, 1450-1900

This term, with reference to the upcoming "Venice-Istanbul 2010" exhibition at the University's Sakıp Sabancı Museum, there will be a special focus on the political, commercial and cultural ties and interactions between these two cities of the Eastern Mediterranean. Hence, too, students interested in participating in the exhibition's Gallery Talks will have received a basic training through HIST 371/571.
