For students who want to choose SPS as their majors and who are currently in their sophomore year, the following courses are recommended:

One of the HUM 200 courses

Area electives: Please note that it is highly recommended that you would take one of the following:

LAW 310-Comparative Legal Thought

POLS 307-Politics of Development

HIST 227- History goes to movies

Please note that you can take ECON 202 in the Spring semester.

It is also not a good idea to take SOC 201 and POLS 301 in the same semester, please refrain from doing so.

IF you want to continue your work in international studies, then the following courses are recommended:

ECON 201-Games and Strategic Behaviour

ECON 204-Microeconomics
