Tarih programı doktora adayı Uygar Aydemir, Paris Siyasi Bilimler Akademisi Tarih Merkezi (Centre d'Histoire de Sciences Po) tarafından 26-27 Ekim 2017 tarihinde düzenlenen “The Changing Frontiers of Political History,16th-20th Centuries” isimli çalıştayda “Does Bureaucracy Ensure 'Rule of Law' or 'Rule of Bureaucrats'? A Critique of Modern Bureaucracy in the Nineteenth-century Ottoman Empire” isimli makalesini sunmuştur.
