This talk is a part of the current exhibition titled Genghis Khan and His Heirs,
hosted by the Sakıp Sabancı Museum. Professor İsenbike Togan will
discuss the procedures of imperial succession of the Mongolian khans
during the existence of the Mongol Empire as a political unit (from
1206 until the middle of the 14th century) and the serious problems it
imposed for the continuation of the empire. This talk will be presented
in Turkish language.
