TÜBİTAK Grant for Our Psychology Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çağla Aydın

Our Psychology Faculty Member, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çağla Aydın’s project titled “VIVID: Exploring the Foundations of Memory Vividness” has been awarded support under the joint funding program of the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) and TÜBİTAK 2501.

In this two-year project, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çağla Aydın will collaborate with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Maureen Ritchey from Boston College. The project aims to understand the mental processes that shape the subjective experience of remembering.

Through international collaboration, the project will:

• Initiate new joint research by combining the expertise of both research teams.
• Support the training of the next generation of scientists in the field of memory research by enabling student exchanges and providing advanced research training opportunities.
