The Project Featuring Prof. Dr. Eren İnci Receives NSF Funding

A research project involving our faculty member Prof. Dr. Eren İnci as a collaborator has received funding from the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF).

The project, “Collaborative Research: Activity-Based Modeling and Optimization for Urban Curb Management,” is led by Moshe Ben-Akiva (MIT) and Eric Gonzales (UMass Amherst) and brings together an interdisciplinary team. The team will study how activities such as commuting and shopping shape curb demand and evaluate pricing and space-allocation policies for more sustainable cities.

Eren İnci’s research focuses on the economics of parking, and he is also a Research Affiliate at MIT’s Intelligent Transportation Systems Lab. We congratulate him on being part of this project and wish the entire research team success.
