FASS Faculty Member A.Nazmi Shakir'll participate Int.Writing Program

Sabancı University FASS Faculty Member Aziz Nazmi Shakir awarded US government grant to participate in the Univesity of Iowa's International Writing Program. 

Aziz Nazmi Shakir has been selected to participate in this year's International Writing Program at the University of Iowa. Shakir is one of 17 participants to be awarded an all-expenses paid grant from the US government to partipate in the three-month program that will allow writers from different cultures to embrace issues of global  relevance together. Since 1967, over 1000 writers from 120 nations have participated in the University of Iowa's International Writing Program. For more information: http://www.uiowa.edu/~iwp/
