Following the two workshops realized in İstanbul and Nicosia, the last series of Apartment Project’s experimental workshops ‘Sketching the bufferzone’ exhibition is about to be presented to the audience in Polistar.

The participants from Berlin, Istanbul  and Nicosia; Hasan AKSAYGIN, Özgür DEMİRCİ, Didem ERK, Gabriele GARAVAGLIA, Anna HEIDENHEIN, Frederic LEZMI, Naomi HENNIGN, Eleni MOUZOUROU, Erhan ÖZE, Pick Nick Projects (Panayiotis MICHAEL, Maria PETRIDES, Alkis HADJIANDREOU), Sümer SAYIN, Şafak ÇATALBAŞ ve Varsity of Maneuver (Birgit Auf DER LAUER & Caspar PAULI) from Berlin, İstanbul and Nicosia aims to approach the bufferzone via conflicted districts, mapping a geography, borders and control mechanisms, studying the concept with its different economic and sociological consequences.
