FASS signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Cambridge University

It is with pleasure that I would like to announce that we as Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Cambridge University to be included into a newly established network, Global Humanities Network. We will participate in joint seminars, research and teaching activities together with our network members to enhance our global engagement. The other network members in addition to Cambridge University and Sabancı University are Fudan and Nanjing Universities from China, Ashoka University, India, the American University of Beirut, University of Cape Town, South Africa, and Universidad Diego Portales, Chile. This network is geographically diverse and truly global. Currently, our Dean Meltem Müftüler-Baç and our faculty member Abdurrahman Atçıl are directly involved with the network, but the initiative is open to all our interested faculty members. We are delighted to be part of this new initiative.
