Our Faculty Member Selçuk Artut's Article in Leonardo Journal

The article titled "Live Coding in Music Theater – A Comprehensive Technique? The case of Dumrul and The Grim Reaper" by Selçuk Artut, a Faculty Member of Sabancı University Visual Arts and Visual Communication Design program, was published in Leonardo Journal, which is known as a very important source in its field. In terms of the compositional approach in this article, live coding is proposed as a holistic sound and music creation technique that focuses on the use of textual systems to depict elaborate forms of artistic expression. It is a first in the world because of the opportunity it provides to work together between Live Coding and Theater Art, which is also being studied under the umbrella of Computer Science.
